Ladies Aid
Immanuel Ladies Aid Society meets monthly on the first Thursday evening at 7 PM. All the ladies of the church are welcome to enjoy a topic, short business meeting, refreshments and fellowship.
The Ladies Aid was recognized by the Altamont Lions Club recently for serving suppers once a month to the Club for 75 years!
The Society is proud of the new parish hall kitchen and it is used often to serve rehearsal dinners, funeral dinners, celebrate anniversaries, and cook for other church events and other clubs of the community.
Yearly the ladies make over 100 pies to be baked and served at the Effingham County Fair church food stand. This is a great group of ladies who are dedicated and love to serve the church in this useful way.
